We are looking for different craft companies to advertise on our Homepage which attracted 945,137 hits between the period of 1st June’09 to 9th July’09 and is still growing.

An advert on the Homepage on HomeoftheHandmade.com will only cost £29.99 (inc VAT) for 4 weeks. This is an introductory rate and prices will soon rise.

HomeoftheHandmade.com is a UK based online marketplace for handmade creations. We are different from other sites because our prices are in £’s not $’s and we actively advertise the site in many, many ways such as in magazines, on facebook, direct contact with crafters and the public and by running stalls at events, fairs and markets. This means people know we are working on their behalf and so we have attracted a lot of attention.

For £29.99 (inc VAT) your advert will be displayed for 4 weeks and will be placed between the ‘Welcome, New users’ button and the ‘Site News’ on the right of the screen. There will be around 4/5 adverts shown at once with the position of the advert, and the companies displayed being selected by a computer generated random function.

You can have a fixed advertising box which means it is always displayed although the position is random, for £150 (inc VAT) for 4 weeks. There is a limit for the Fixed adverts of 2 per 4 weeks if there is 5 advert boxes displaying and a limit of 1 per 4 weeks if there is 4 advert boxes displayed. So if you want this, don’t delay.

When you advertise with us you will also be given, FREE of charge, a section on our video which is shown when we run stalls at Craft Fairs, markets and events. We use the video to advertise our sellers items. This attracts sellers and buyers to our website, and also to your advert.

We do not have any adverts on the site at the moment as adverts are completely new to HomeoftheHandmade.com. Once we have enough companies onboard we will place the adverts on the site. Because of this, we do not yet have the exact dimensions of the advert but you can judge for yourself the size. It’s as wide as the ‘Site News’ and the same again for the height.
